Now im done with my 2D part 1 course. I had to complete an assignment that i had left over, this is the one from before but i put more light to it and adjusted the lighting on the arms, i did not succseed in shading the fabrics so that it would look like… fabrics, ill have to practice on that part and ill try to do that later. But anyway:

Now on to the next course,
;we have started our game development course, diving into our past project with the space shooting theme. We now had the chance of choosing one of the other projects to work on. Our group voted for a stealth like shooter, and that is what we are going to be working on for 10 weeks (9 Weeks left now).
This time I am assigned to be the project leader and lead artist, I will try to do my best for this project and with the help of my teammates this will hopefully be promising!
This past week we started directly started to work on the Design Document to help us know what we want to achieve and what our main goals are. We divided the work load between the group members but in the end we had to read it all together so there wouldn’t be any misunderstandings in our individual tasks. We also had a short lecture about the SCRUM method including the LEAN-program to learn how to plan everything and minimize the chances of making mistakes.
We have been assigned a mentor as well, maybe he can give us some good pointers.
Right now I am working on some GUI (graphic user interface), I kept saying interference but now I’ve got it right for once. I am designing the title screen, ingame screen, buttons and icons. Simon is also helping me out with some weapon designs! I will also help out with some concept art, making some button animations etc.
The deadline for SCRUM is next week on Friday, so well have to work on that , but it shouldn’t be that much to do because we have already done some of that work.
