Completed!

Now im done with my 2D part 1 course. I had to complete an assignment that i had left over, this is the one from before but i put more light to it and adjusted the lighting on the arms, i did not succseed in shading the fabrics so that it would look like… fabrics, ill have to practice on that part and ill try to do that later. But anyway:

Thats the one.

Now on to the next course,

;we have started our game development course, diving into our past project with the space shooting theme. We now had the chance of choosing one of the other projects to work on. Our group voted for a stealth like shooter, and that is what we are going to be working on for 10 weeks (9 Weeks left now).

This time I am assigned to be the project leader and lead artist, I will try to do my best for this project and with the help of my teammates this will hopefully be promising!

This past week we started directly started to work on the Design Document to help us know what we want to achieve and what our main goals are. We divided the work load between the group members but in the end we had to read it all together so there wouldn’t be any misunderstandings in our individual tasks. We also had a short lecture about the SCRUM method including the LEAN-program to learn how to plan everything and minimize the chances of making mistakes.

We have been assigned a mentor as well, maybe he can give us some good pointers.

Right now I am working on some GUI (graphic user interface), I kept saying interference but now I’ve got it right for once. I am designing the title screen, ingame screen, buttons and icons. Simon is also helping me out with some weapon designs! I will also help out with some concept art, making some button animations etc.

The deadline for SCRUM is next week on Friday, so well have to work on that , but it shouldn’t be that much to do because we have already done some of that work.

2D course Final assignments

The final assignments are finally done, so i got 2 pictures for you today. One is setting a light to a village (Note that i didnt draw the village, i only drew the shadows on to the original picture). The second picture is the cowboy from before, yeah… i got that one wrong, we were supposed to make a structure not set the light. So i made a lineart instead and this one im really prod of 🙂

I have an assignment i need to redo so ill try to post it as soon as ive completed it, but for now take a look at these two:

Its all about practice!

This was my first try on this picture, I guess ill have to redo it once i get back to school. I think maybe if i get some more distinguish lines and make it look cleaner.

So ill be back for school next monday, then ill have to Work my butt off, two assignments awaits!

Im not home yet……

Under the christmas holiday i have been slacking off… alot… and being sick.. no posts has been uploaded as you may have noticed. I have been drawing on my pc for the final assignments but i didnt like the result so i chose to wait until i got it right.. but then again.. i should upload it so that i can compare it with future results. Ill do that for friday. Ill share this picture that i drew on my way to stockholm just for exercise

I liked this one.. ill maybe add spiderman punching him 🙂
